Who doesn’t love spending time in a café? Having sparkling conversations with a friend, reading a good book, observing people, having a first date (or a second, a third …), even working; there’s a lot you can do while drinking a coffee or tea, eating some cake or bread, somewhere downtown in your favorite café or in a totally unknown city. Let’s face it: it’s not all about the coffee. It’s about the place, the style, the atmosphere, the people (and a bit about the coffee and the cakes, okay). It’s about the stories you have heard there, seen there, written there, thought there. What made you to a loyal guest of a specific café? Was it the smile of the barista, the smell of the freshly brewed coffee, the unique look of your date when they say that you are really cool? Or the warmth you felt when you entered the café at a snowy winter’s day? Whatever, a life without cafés is a dull life. Coffee in a special surrounding makes your days colorful.

I love spending my time in a café, especially to get inspiration, develop ideas, and think. And I take photos of nearly all my cups, cupcakes, the place etc. Here’s a selection of my latest café impressions. Enjoy!
